Immerse yourself in the warmth of an authentic Finnish-style wood-fired sauna at Hikitalo, Rest Bay. Join up to 10 fellow sauna enthusiasts for a rejuvenating 55-minute communal session, perfect for relaxation and connection.

Important Information

Arrival: Please arrive 10 minutes early for a brief orientation to ensure a smooth start.
Facilities: Note that there are no changing facilities at Rest Bay, so come prepared with swimwear on.
Listen to your body: Don't over do it and listen to your body, step out to cool off whenever needed.
Water Safety: Sea dipping is always at your own risk; watch for strong sideways currents, rip currents, powerful waves and submerged rocks at high tide. If in trouble, Float to Live and in an emergency alert lifeguards or call 999/112 for the coastguard.

FAQ

Do you take walk-ins (arriving without booking in advance)?

Yes, we do accept walk-ins, but we highly recommend bookingin advance to guarantee availability. Walk-ins will be accommodated if there is space and all sessions start on the hour.

What if the weather is bad?

If conditions are safe, sessions will continue as planned, and no refunds or rescheduling will be permitted.

If a Met Office weather warning is in place, you may request a voucher valid for 12 months by contacting us before 4 PM the day before your session.

If we need to cancel your session due to extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a full refund or rescheduling option.

What happens if I miss my sauna session?

If you do not attend your booking without prior notice, it will be considered a no-show, and no refund or rescheduling will be offered. A £10 per person no-show fee will be applied.

To avoid charges, we recommend notifying us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?

More than 48 hours before your session: You can cancel for a full refund or reschedule free of charge.
Less than 48 hours before your session: Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
