Hikitalo Cancellation & No-Show Policy

General Policy (for all bookings)

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your session: Eligible for a full refund or the option to reschedule at no extra cost.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your session: Non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
  • No-shows (failure to attend without notice): A £10 per person fee will be charged to the payment method used for booking.

Rescheduling Policy

  • More than 48 hours before your session: You may reschedule free of charge.
  • Less than 48 hours before your session: Rescheduling is not permitted. You will need to rebook at full price.

Bad Weather Policy

  • If the sauna remains operational: Sessions will continue regardless of weather conditions. No refunds or rescheduling will be allowed unless a weather warning is issued.
  • If there is a Met Office weather warning affecting our location: You may request a voucher for the full amount, valid for 12 months, if you inform us by 4 PM the day before your session.
  • If Hikitalo cancels your session (due to staff illness, extreme weather, or maintenance issues): You will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Member-Specific Policy (for subscription or loyalty members)

  • Members must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance to avoid charges.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows will incur a £10 per person fee charged automatically.
  • Repeat no-shows (3 times in 3 months) may result in suspension of booking privileges.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

  • All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be sent via email to hello@hikitalo.com with the following details:
    • Full Name
    • Email Address
    • Date & Time of Booking
    • Preferred Option (refund, reschedule, or voucher if eligible)
  • We do not accept cancellations via social media or phone calls.
